Help Ruba:Injured Survivor in Gaza!
Donation protected
I pursued my passion for photography, capturing life’s beauty and working tirelessly to fulfill my dreams.
However, the war has devastated our lives, taking not only my father and many of my family members but also our jobs, dreams, and sense of normalcy.
On October 31, 2023, the residential area where my family and I lived in Jabalia Camp, Al-Hoja Street, Block 6, was targeted. This tragic event is known as the Hoja Massacre. As a result, I suffered severe injuries to my shoulder, face, jaws, teeth and other parts of my body, and I was transferred to intensive care at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. Given the scarcity of medical supplies and the dire situation, I was nominated for further treatment in Egypt.
Since November 9, I have been receiving treatment at the Nasser Institute Hospital in Egypt, where I underwent multiple surgeries. My father means my soul , I’ve lost him at the same incident, along with my grandmother, uncles, cousins, and their children. Now, it’s just my mother, my sisters, my brothers, and me. We’re struggling to survive in Egypt with no financial support or breadwinner.
We have no experience in living abroad and managing our affairs, as we depended heavily on my father. My brother, who is studying abroad in Cuba, he used to depend on my father’s financially to cover the costs of living and university studies and he lost his financial support due this war.
Our situation has become even more challenging as I continue to require medical treatment, and returning to Gaza is currently impossible.
We are now trying to raise funds to rebuild our lives and support my family, including:
1. Myself
2. My mother, Lina
3. Two sisters (27 and 13 years old)
4. Two brothers (22 and 20 years old)
Living in Egypt, we face high costs and have no source of income following the loss of our breadwinner. The funds will be used to rebuild our lives, ensuring we can continue with treatment, education, and daily necessities.
I never imagined reaching a point where we have no home, no job, and no income, living with only the clothes on our backs :/
My family once had a perfect life. We lived in a lovely house in the best neighborhood, each of us actively pursuing our personal goals.
Asking for help is not easy, but it is our only option for survival. As we strive to rebuild our broken lives, we are deeply grateful for any support you can provide.Your donation
will be used responsibly by me, ensuring it goes to the right place and makes a positive impact
Your kindness and generosity in our time of need mean the world to me and family .
Note: my brother-in-law Wesam Abujaser who resides in Europe will receive the funds and transfer it to us .
