Rebuilding Luquins and Akebono

On January 16, 2017 the quaint town of Pahoa, Hawaii lost an historic part of its landscape . The Luquins Mexican Restaurant and Akebono Theater were destroyed by fire. The Akebono would have been 100 years old this year. The Luquin family would like to express it's utmost gratitude and appreciation for all their employees and the communities love and support through this very difficult time.
