Support Abed's Medical Recovery & Family Relief

Hello Everyone, I am Abdelrahman Alkahout, a Palestinian photojournalist from Gaza. I am suffering from injuries caused by an explosive gunshot to my legs during my journalistic coverage at the beginning of the war back in November, 2023. I appeal to you for donations and support through my GoFundMe link in the current catastrophic conditions in Gaza . The donations aim to cover medical care expenses as my medical condition requires shrapnel removal embedded in knee and legs and treatment (currently awaiting on scheduling surgery) in Turkey due to the current collapse of the healthcare system in Gaza. Because of your generous donations, I was able to evacuate from Gaza prior to Rafah border closure. Additionally, my family is still in Gaza facing difficult humanitarian conditions with no source of livelihood due to the destruction of our business; demolition of our homes; and lack of food and water in Northern Gaza. Your donations will contribute to improving my health condition and providing the necessary Healthcare procedures and improving my family's life. The funds will be allocated to support my family members financially who are still in Gaza struggling to make ends meet and to pay for my costly required surgery for shrapnel removal.
