Phase 2 - Rebuilding Small Businesses in WNC

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

When we awoke to Helene’s devastation, we could do nothing else but jump into action. We immediately banded together to feed the community and provide a home base for Global Empowerment Mission and Aerial Recovery Group, as they heroically saved lives and distributed emergency aid.

For those of you who donated to Phase 1 of our cause, feeding the Horse Shoe community, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your invaluable contribution. Your dollars went to providing nourishment and comfort to those who needed it most.

As we wind down our emergency relief efforts, we turn our attention to long-term aid. Our family’s history of supporting the Appalachian arts will continue as we pivot our fundraising towards rebuilding the countless small businesses, artists, artisans, farmers and craftsmen whose livelihoods were washed away.

Together with Global Empowerment Mission, our 501(c)3 partner, we will continue to raise funds to provide grants to help them get back on their feet. Please consider a donation to support these businesses and artists that make up the backbone of this community,
