Minneapolis Minority owned business looted

Donation protected

Family Beauty Supply, looted, vandalized and destroyed May 28, 2020. This minority immigrant owned business is left trying to pick up the pieces amidst mourning with the community in the middle of a pandemic.

Our heart goes out to Minneapolis, we are all hurting and we will prevail. Justice needs to be served. In justice, we ask that you help those innocently affected and in need. Family Beauty Supply, an immigrant family-owned business was lost Thursday May 28th. Unfortunately, we are struggling to make ends meet, even with the aid of insurance during these times. I want to see it rise again for my father that passed away a decade ago, he started this business after coming to America from South Korea with fifty dollars in his pocket and working his way up to his dream of opening a business. He paid for the constant struggles of making the business what it is today and his hard work led to a number of tumors in his brain from the stress that ultimately led him to die after a long battle of brain cancer before the age of 50. Our family has given our best effort to make the business survive and today, we stand in its ashes. Please help us rebuild, and continue to supply/employ to POC.

Anything you can donate to start the rebuild process will be a blessing #prayforminneapolis #justice #georgefloyd
