Help the Goddards Rebuild

In February of 2015 my sister, Stephanie (Kennedy) Goddard and her family suffered a devastating loss.  While her, her husband, their two daughters and their pets were in their home, their heating system malfunctioned and flooded their entire home rendering the home unliveable.

Since then it has been a stressful journey.  They received no immediate assistance from their insurance company.  Unable to live in their home, they have been depending on the  generousity of others as they still continue to pay bills and their mortgage.  Last week, the insurance company denied their claim stating that the accident could not have caused the damage.  Sorry to report but it did!  Can you imagine - you pay your insurance premium for 15+ years and when an accident happens they won't help you!  

They are now having to proceed with a law suit against the insurance company.  This could take years to be resolved.  In the meantime, they have no where to live and no way to rebuild their home - the insurance company has not given them $1....

I have set up this page to help raise money for them to rebuild their home, to cover living expenses (they will need to pay rent on top of their mortgage) and legal fees.  The journey will be long, but we are hoping with the help of family and friends we can at least make it easier.
