Together We Rebuild
Donation protected
Hey Friends,
We've had an overwhelming response from our clients and from the residents of Birmingham, AL asking how they can help after the destruction through downtown on May 31st, 2020. We hesitated to ask for donation because we don't want to make this movement about us and our struggle, however, it's undeniable that after closing for months to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, our ability to rebuild may be more reliant on contributions from the community than we'd like to admit. To ensure the relief funds are distributed as widely as possible we will be giving a percentage raised to neighboring small businesses who were effected as well as the local organization Urban Impact Birmingham .
We want to make it clear the events following the protest have not changed our stance on Black Lives Matter. We stand with you. Windows and computers can be replaced but the lives of those lost to racism can not. We are more than grateful for any amount of donation received and we promise to continue spreading the message of equality and doing our part to better the lives of our black friends, family members and fellow citizens. We love you guys and we love being apart of The Magic City! Thank you for keeping us afloat through your kind words and acts of kindness, we hope to see you soon!
