Recently Released Refugee Needs Lockdown Support

The following fundraiser has been set up on behalf of a friend to protect their privacy.

A refugee recently released from indefinite detention earlier this year has tested positive for COVID-19 whilst living in Sydney. They are not eligible for any benefits, and are also on a temporary protection visa, which makes them more vulnerable to policing.

All funds will be passed directly to the recipient to support expenses that come with staying home and isolating to keep their community safe.
