Recently widowed, elderly women being evicted.

Hello, my name is Monique Levin. My husband passed away on November 30, 2022. It was sudden and completely unexpected and on the same day as my uncle's funeral. He was our sole provider. I currently live in a small apartment one of the very few apartments left that has low rent. I am unable to pay my rent due to the paperwork, I need to complete to receive my husband's Social Security benefits once. . Once I am able to have that completed, I will be able to provide for myself again and pay my own rent. This is the only place I can afford. I’ve lived here for over nine years. I am just a few days late on my rent and I’ve already received an eviction notice. I will have nowhere to go. I will be homeless. I’m only asking for a total of $2000 this would be two month's rent and I’m praying that will be enough time to get my widow's benefits if there’s any possible way you can help me stay in my home.
