Reconstructing The Vault after Devastating Tornado
Donation protected
Hey, we are The Vault— a multi-purpose warehouse in the heart of Tallahassee’s art district, Railroad Square. Over the past eight months, we have housed a recording & producing studio, been a consistent rehearsal space space for 7 local bands, and hosted community gatherings and networking events for Tallahassee locals that are passionate about music and art.
On Friday, May 10th, we awoke to the devastating news that the roof and side wall of our space was completely gone due to a series of tornadoes that touched down early in the morning. On top of severe structural damage, tens of thousands of dollars of equipment was ruined by debris and water damage. Our bands and collaborators are absolutely heartbroken.
The damages reach far beyond material goods. Our space has flourished to become a home to countless people.
As we figure out what comes next for The Vault, we hope to raise some money to cover damages, rebuild the space, and help out our artists as they recover from the loss of a rehearsal space & gathering spot.
Thank you for taking the time to hear our story. We appreciate any prayers and support you contribute.
With love,
The Vault
