Reconstruction for Rachel after cancer

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma last July, and had a tumor removed from my face last August, along with some lymph nodes and my palate and my upper teeth. Today I got some incredible news: we are finally ready to schedule my surgery! Everything looks healed and good in my mouth, so we are moving forward! I know my mom and dad are doing happy dances right now (or I imagine that)! Unfortunately, the insurance did not approve my case, even with everything I sent them, and the hospital didn’t sign the deal with the manufacturer either (I am so thankful that you all sent messages though, Dr. Zaid said they sure did get a ton of them! Y’all rock!). Because of this, we are doing the surgery at a nearby surgery center in Baton Rouge that Dr. Zaid has performed surgeries before, so that’s good. I am basically on call for when they are able to find a date that Dr. Zaid is available and the surgery center has an opening. This could be next week or next month, but he said I will definitely get the implants in before Christmas! Praise the Lord! Now, I will not be walking away with teeth that day, this is for the implants (screws) themselves. I am having 2 different types of implants done, zygomatic and pre-prosthetic plates; a total of 8 screws and an obturator. I need to pay $13,500 up front, before they will begin my reconstruction. I would so appreciate any help you can give me for this life-changing surgery! Your support and prayers have meant the world to me, and my entire family; I am forever grateful.
