Record the Pszenny Project Debut Album

The Pszenny Project was founded by Mark Pszenny (Vocals/Lead Guitar) in 2021. After years of playing in cover bands, Mark always dreamed of writing, playing and recording his original music co-written with his band. There have been many setbacks endured due to multiple lower back surgeries and a right hip replacement.

I am Mark Pszenny, founder of the Pszenny Project, Lead Guitar and Lead Vocals. John Bunnicci on Bass, Sam Hilliard on Rhythm Guitar and Ross Flemming on Drums. Your donations will be used to record our debut full-length album at Murray Town Entertainment Studio in Lexington, SC. All funds raised will be paid directly to Murray Town Entertainment via a personal check.

Finally in 2022 with band members in place and several songs written The Pszenny Project was ready to go, or not! Mark needed an MRI of his other hip to determine if another hip replacement was warranted. Unfortunately, the MRI revealed something very unexpected and Mark was diagnosed with stage II prostate cancer. Thankfully, it was caught early and was very treatable. In October 2022 determined to make it work, Mark wrote 5 songs for an EP and rallied musicians to get into the studio. Cancer changes your thinking and tho treatable, perhaps curable, one still can't but come to grips with his mortality. That energy was channeled into drive and determination; despite all the medical setbacks, the EP Funked Up was released in Dec 2022 and quite surprisingly received attention in 12 countries. Mark's dream come true! The band was back together even stronger this time and we released original music.

Mark is yet again derailed for much of the summer from playing live gigs due to pending left hip replacement surgery. We relied heavily on a busy gig schedule this summer to fund the album.

So many of you have already shown us so much support via donations. The album will have 12 original compositions written by Mark & the band. Every dollar raised will inch us closer to a completed album. As we have learned, a band is only as good as the people & fans who stand with us and show us the love & support needed for success in music. We have received wonderful testimonials of how our songs have helped people in their everyday lives. What an honor and privilege it is to have such a profound impact on people. We look forward to continuing to touch the hearts of our fans with this album. Without you, we can't be successful. We are fortunate to have our friends, family and fans. You are truly the ones that make it all happen.

Our ultimate goal is to bring you an album worthy of catapulting us into the festival gig circuit where we can entertain you with the finest live show around.
