Help recover my savings for college
Donation protected
My name is Nadine Ikizakubuntu, and I was born and raised in Tanzania. A few years ago, my family moved to America in search of better opportunities. I am a first-generation daughter and older sister to three younger siblings and I have always tried to be a good example for them as well.
Currently a senior in high school, I am getting ready for graduation in one month. Since I was old enough to work, I have dedicated myself to saving every penny I earn. I realized early on that relying solely on the low-paying jobs my parents have wouldn't be enough to fund my four years of college education.
Unfortunately, I am among hundreds of individuals, many of them young people like me, who were persuaded to invest in online trading. The professional trader I trusted ultimately turned out to be a scammer, leaving me with zero access to the funds I saved over the past five years. All of my money was stolen, and I don’t know what to do.
So I am reaching out to ask for assistance from anyone who is able to help. I am fundraising for the amount of money that was stolen. Your support would mean a great deal to me as I continue to pursue my education.
I am sharing my story as a teachable moment for other teenagers like myself who spend time on the internet. Criminals like this prey on financially vulnerable individuals like me, especially in communities where resources are scarce. It's a reminder that we have to be extra cautious - because we never truly know who is on the other side or what their intentions may be.
Thank you for considering my request, and I am deeply appreciative of any support you are able to provide. Best regards, Nadine Ikizakubuntu
