Baker Childcare and Early Learning Center Recovery

After six years of dedicated work, we were on the verge of opening the only licensed childcare facility in our area. However, a summer storm caused severe damage by flipping half of our building upside down before it could be set on its foundation, resulting in $60,000 in unexpected repair costs. These costs have exhausted our start-up funds, leaving us unable to furnish the facility. With a nearly full waitlist, we’re doing everything we can to recover and open our doors to our families needing care.

We're close to completing the repairs, but we need your help to open our doors. The funds we raise will go toward essential items like cribs, pack and plays, sleep mats, developmental toys, playground equipment and ground cover, kitchen supplies, and other critical furnishings to prepare the facility for our community's children.
