Recovering Stolen Funds for O's Kitchen
Dear Community,
We are crushed to relay that while our dear colleague and owner of O's Kitchen, Onika, was retrieving soda from her vehicle an hour ago, she realized her purse had been stolen out of her car. Her purse not only held all of her personal belongings, it also held over $5,000 cash in a USBank envelope from O's Kitchen's proceeds, all of which were earned at the Black State Fair last week. Her plan was to deposit this cash after her shift ended at All Square this afternoon.
Honestly—we are all in shock. It is absolutely devastating to witness this happen after the countless hours Onika had put into the Black State Fair, sleeping only 2 hours a night for over a week, lugging furniture and equipment across town day in and day out, planning, purchasing, cooking, sweating, enduring heat waves and torrential downpours. She truly put all of her energy, time, and soul into this memorable and meaningful week; to have her earnings disappear is just too much.
Community... WE NEED YOU.
Please join us in helping Onika to recover these funds—and please, please spread the word.
Love from us to you,
Team All Square
