Hi! My name is Kim Adams and I'm a person in long term recovery who wants to help women find a new way to live free from the horrors of uncontrolled substance use. Together with my husband, we started Recovering Hands, a residential recovery support center in 2015. Please visit our website at recoveringhands.com to view our brochure and find out more about us. Recovering Hands is a non-profit (501 3-c) organizations and all donations are tax deductible.
Our 150 acre ranch is located in rural south central Virginia and is an ideal location in that we are able to provide a safe and peaceful environment for women in early recovery to put together some "clean" time while learning the tools that will enable them to live their new lives without the use of drugs and alcohol.
We have the support of others in the recovery community who are available to aid us in our mission of helping women who want to reclaim their lost lives.
My husband and I have 28 and 29 years of abstinence from mind and mood altering drugs. We have been successfully working our own recovery programs since 1989 and 1991. My recovery has blessed me with the gift of being able to devote much of the last 28 years of my life to being of service to the sick and suffering addict and alcoholic and with Recovering Hands I have been blessed to be able to take my service to women to the next level.
Your generous donations help us to continue to be able to offer scholarships to women who need our help rebuilding their lost lives. Please help save the life of another human being today!!
