Recovering Students After Fire
Donation protected
On Friday November 17th, four students from the University of Ottawa had their student house set on fire in the middle of the night. I personally know two out of the four roommates and am happy to share that everyone is okay. Unfortunately, all of their belongings were lost in the fire. This comes at an extremely difficult time as the semester is winding down to an end and the holidays are approaching. These students are not from the city of Ottawa and are now struggling trying to find a place to live. Not only is this a serious financial burden, but it is an emotional strain to all families involved. These students worked tirelessly throughout post-secondary and summers to assist their parents in funding their education through tuition, living expenses, and all other university payments. Any donation or contribution to help these students rebuild their lives would be greatly appreciated.
