Recovery after traumatic brain injury

Hi I’m Amanda and I’m fundraising for our family. On Sunday august 7th our family experienced the scariest thing ever. Our son had an accident where he suffered a traumatic head injury which caused a brain bleed and skull fracture.

Our son was airlifted from poway hospital to Escondido’s trauma center. He was hospitalized for a week in the ICU. Although discharged and now home with us our son still has a hematoma which will continue to be monitored by specialists (we pray it begins to shrink), his skull fracture will take time to heal and we are navigating through his headaches, neck, and back pain.

Doctor’s say recovery will be lengthy (3/6 months) with many medical visit’s to his primary dr, specialists, physical therapy, acupuncture and anything we have done or will need to do to make his recovery here at home more comfortable.

As a mother my children are the most important thing in life. I am so grateful to still have our precious son with us.

All donations will be used to pay for medical expenses and any other costs that will help our son during his recovery.
