Recovery and support for David Herring
At approximately midnight on the 21st of November my husband David was brought to the ER at Southwest medical center in Vancouver, Washington. He was paralyzed on the left side of his body, was immediately rushed to a team of doctors, nurses and immediately had CT scan. The doctor then proceeded to tell me that David had suffered a Hemorrhagic Stroke. He had bleeding in his brain that caused him to have a stroke. The extent of the damage is unknown at this point. He has been recovering in the hospital for the past couple days and is making remarkable progress towards recovery. It could be weeks and possibly even never till he returns back to work. We do not know what the end outcome will be of his recovery. Being the sole provider for his family, this will with out doubt put undue stress and financial burden on him and our family. Also with the lack of health insurance our road ahead will be challenging financially. We are asking for love, support and understanding through this very difficult time we never saw coming.
This has been the most challenging and the most difficult thing I have ever gone through in my life. Watching David...the man I love have no control of his body and feeling as though I was going to lose him was beyond heart breaking and overwhelming in the worst ways imaginable.
