Recovery and Wellness for Crohn’s Disease

Hello everyone, to those who do not know me, my name is Donna Ewing. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2013. Since then, I have had multiple surgeries and have been on numerous medications with no luck. My health has continued to deteriorate to where I am going to have another surgery on September 19, 2023. This surgery will be much more invasive and I will also be dealing with an ileostomy. Physically, I will take time to heal, and emotionally, I’m already filled with anxiety. I’m fearful of being off work for so long and not being able to pay my bills or get the supplies I will need after my surgery.

I was very hesitant to ask anyone for help, as I have always been one to just figure it out on my own Unfortunately, this situation has left me to realize everyone needs a little help every once in awhile. And it’s ok.
