Help Dave Murr Rebuild & Recover After Hurricane

Hello everyone!

My name is Ashley & I’m the daughter of Dave Murr, formerly of Ohio, current resident of Daytona/Port Orange.

Hurricane Ian recently wreaked havoc to much of Florida including Daytona Beach / Port Orange where my dad lives. While they didn’t get hit nearly as hard as other parts of the state, they still received over 4+ ft of rain/storm surge. Their vehicles are damaged, likely totaled & will need to be towed to hopefully be repaired, if not then replaced. They are still without power (for an undetermined amount of time). His home flooded and the floor is giving way in some places already. The road to rebuilding and recovery is ahead and it will be long and consuming. Looters and scrapers are already present in his neighborhood trying to take advantage of these residents in such a vulnerable state.
