My sisters recovery after craniotomy

Hey fam,

On March 22, my sister Marcie will undergo her first (hope to God last) brain surgery. What we assumed was an inner ear infection, shocked us all with a pretty significant brain tumor that has probably been growing for the past 10 years. Her mri confirmed a meningioma about the size of a plum. This is pressing on her vestibular nerve causing permanent hearing loss, headaches, and vertigo. Doc says recovery is roughly 1.5 months, but everyone is different. As terrifying as this is for our family, I know I have to put my emotions aside and do all I can for her. I know times are hard, but please know anything and everything will help. I know Marcie would do it for me in a heartbeat. All funds will go towards rent,bills,dog/cat food/and eventually a hearing aid (they aren't covered by insurance ) From the bottom our hearts(and brains!), thank you.
