RECOVERY FUND FOR TEDDY

On the evening of Sunday, June 14th, 2020 our dear friend Teddy was shot point blank by an unknown white man in a random act of violence.
Teddy was in Everett visiting a friend. He parked his car and began the short trek to his friend's apartment. On his way, he encountered a group of 3 people walking towards him. They nodded at him, he nodded back and continued walking. Shortly afterwards he sensed people quickly advancing on him from behind. He instinctively ran, but when they called out to him, he turned back assuming they wanted to fight. Instead, they were aiming a gun at him.
The bullet tore through Teddy’s raised forearm and travelled into his abdomen. Someone nearby who heard the gunshot called 911 and Teddy was taken to the hospital where he had emergency surgery. As of today, Teddy’s assailant still has not been found.
Teddy’s injuries are serious. He has suffered internal damage to multiple organs, including his liver, kidney, and small and large intestines. The surgeons have deemed the bullet lodged in his spine inoperable. Since it's too risky to try removing the bullet, it will remain inside him permanently. Teddy has been discharged from the hospital, however his stomach is still intubated and he is experiencing nerve pain as well as with mobility issues.
Teddy is a beloved animator, DJ, and music producer. The money raised here will go towards his lost income, hospital bills, long-term care, physical rehabilitation, food, and housing.
