Recovery Fund, My Mother is Fighting COVID-19
Donation protected
Dear Community,
I am writing this today with the hopes that my mother will recover from COVID and that you may be able to extend your help to us. My mother Maria Luisa Contreras, is a produce inventory worker at the Farm Patch in Bryan, TX. She has been employed there for the past 6 years with no sick paid leave. She started to feel ill last Wednesday and took a COVID test Friday and tested positive Sunday. She is Type 2 Diabetic and due to her little income she has not been able to afford to take her medicine which has exacerbated her COVID symptoms. She fainted this week and has been hospitalized, she is facing pneumonia and her breathing levels are low. Currently doctors are trying to stabilize her oxygen levels on a bipap machine, if her levels do not get better she will be placed on a ventilator.
I am asking for help to cover her medical bills, living expenses, insulin, and to keep her afloat once she recovers.
Thank you for your consideration,
Ariella
