Recovery Happens

Darren Preston, Thomas Holmes, and Perry Cline are a group of thriving, community involved, recovered addicts who need your help in creating a change in our local area. We have started a transitional house to help others make the positive change they desire. Recovery Happens is a residential program in Champaign, IL for those recovering from substance abuse and addictions. Our primary aim is provide a structured and stable environment for men recovering from the disease of addiction. We will assist in providing a safe, caring, and compassionate atmosphere that will foster life-long recovery for individuals. We will provide support to enable personal growth. While helping improve their quality of life, they will become productive members of society. Our goal is to be known as a respected recovery entity whose sole purpose is to help men succeed in their recovery, while establishing a method of living a drug/alcohol free lifestyle. Our goal is to be different from other programs by providing sustainability within the growth and changes these individuals will make. We want to eliminate the stigma of over whelming requirements that other programs have while also maintaining high value, and ethical recovery atmosphere . Because we are so passionate about this, a lot of the costs have been covered by our personal funds, but we would really appreciate any help and support as well. Right now, we have a home payment, including utilities,  are in need for household appliances, and supplies to decrease the responsibilities for the individuals we are trying to assist so they can spend the time here, increasing their productivity with as little worries as possible. We are accepting any form of donation that you would like to make to help provide the necessities we need to complete the mission at hand. There is nothing like this in Champaign right now, and we are very passionate about being the ones to implement a long lasting change for our community.
