Recovery help needed after being hit by truck

On September 18, 2020, I was hit by a pick up truck while crossing a street in a pedestrian crosswalk with a green light. Two surgeries later, after a few days in hospital and 2 1/2 weeks after n rehab, I am finally on my way to a restorative stay at my mom’s. I am fighting to come back physically from this terrible physical blow. Shattered left knee, shattered left wrist and broken collarbone on the right, I have a long hard road to recovery. Per my doctor, I am healing well and I am determined to fight my way back from this and get home to South Florida ASAP.

i’m not fond of asking for help, but I have realized that I am in a situation where I need to. My medical expenses are piling up, insurance will not cover everything since the accident happened out of state, and it is likely that any kind of settlement in this case financially is years away. Thus, I am asking for help to cover these and other living expenses since I cannot work, or find work for the foreseeable future.
