Hello all. My sister Karabeth Davis and her family, Husband and 4 children, had a bad fire at their house this morning 5/5/2024. As of right now they don't know when and if they can return to their house. They lost everything in their Garage and car port at the moment. Still investigating. Her Husband is an arborist and lost all his work gear and tools. That alone is about 2,500.

Red cross gave them money to stay in a hotel up until TUESDAY MAY 7TH and until they get the news that they can return to their house that they more than likely will have to be in the hotel for a while. All the clothes and belongings in the house have smoke damage so not sure what is salvageable or not, but the kids range from 16-7 so they will more than likely have to get new clothes.

They do have renters' insurance but until it's done being investigated and then the adjuster comes, they are low on funds. They tried to go back and get clothing but they are all wet with smoke damage so they have what was on their backs when they vacated. Anything you can do I highly appreciate it. If you have donations please let us know as well and we can get them from you and take it to them. If you can not donate please just share. Let's pull together and help this family of 6.
