Recovery on Water (ROW) is a rowing team that gives survivors of breast cancer the unique opportunity to interact, become active in their recovery, and gain support from fellow survivors.
In most years ROW is able to depend a great deal on it's Chicago Marathon team to raise a substantial amount of money to support its needs to continue to operate safely and effectively.
I had signed up to run my fourth Chicago Marathon (2nd with ROW) in 2020. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Chicago Marathon was canceled this year. In spite of the cancellation of the Marathon, myself and other runners are doing their best to raise money for the Recovery On Water, in an effort to ensure that this wonderful organization will still receive at least some portion of the donations that they would typically count from the Marathon.
I know that times are tough for many people right now. The current year has been a difficult one for all of us. If you can afford to spare any amount of of money at all it would be greatly appreciated and I know that it means the world to the current members of ROW and the network of survivors and those currently facing breast cancer that are supported by ROW.

Recovery on Water (ROW) is a 501c3 non profit organization. To date, our diverse pool of support has included grants, sponsorships and charitable donations, and every contribution helps us provide quality coaching, indoor facilities, and safe equipment for our team.
