Red Deer for Palestine Art Gallery and Sale Fundraiser

My name is Chris, and I am an organizer for Red Deer for Palestine.

Red Deer for Palestine is a group in Central Alberta committed to educating people about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine and fundraising to help end this catastrophe that has officially claimed the lives of over 40,000 people, nearly half of them children, and internally displaced over 1.9 million in Gaza. Over 5.6 million registered Palestinian refugees live in Gaza, the West Bank and adjacent countries in a refugee crisis that spans over 70 years. On July 5th, 2024, The Lancet, a world-leading medical journal, reported more accurate estimates of over 186,000 deaths attributable to the current situation in Gaza. https://tinyurl.com/3sa627nd

We are a dedicated volunteer-led organization, and we are asking our generous supporters to help us meet our goal of $1,000 to put towards our upcoming Art Gallery and Sale Fundraiser on October 10th, 2024, where all proceeds go to UNRWA. This Gallery aims to raise awareness in our community about the ongoing Palestinian Genocide in support of UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), a UN agency that supports the relief and human development of Palestinian refugees.
