Red Key Alumni
Donation protected
Dear fellow Brothers of the Red Key,
Many of you attribute some of your best memories to Saint Anselm College and especially the Red Key Society. With Covid-19, the Red Key Society and its current roster need help now more than ever. Sadly, alumni Key members have also fallen on hard times. Therefore, we would like to announce the creation of the RED KEY BIG BROTHER ALUMNI GROUP where alumni 'big brothers' unite to offer mentorship and to donate money for student jackets, events, student and alumni financial hardships, and even scholarships.
This also goes beyond money. By creating a more formal digital connection between members of the past 60 plus years, we will be able to launch more alumni events ranging from golf and basketball tournaments to fund raisers and social gatherings/networking opportunities. In addition, we have gone along and made a Red Key Society LinkedIn account for current members and alumni to follow so that career networking possibilities vastly increase.
Brian Donahue (2019) and Mick Flynn (1989) would chair a board along with myself and others who wish to serve to aggregate, oversee and allot funds. At some point we could create a 501c3 organization in order to make donations tax deductible but for now, in the beta phase, we would like to simply launch through our GoFundMe page. That being said, 25 to 100 dollars a year would suffice but there would be no maximum in terms of donations. The board will also assign little brothers to their adoptive alumni. Alumni will be split into groups giving the student the maximum diversity.
The best means to help us now is to:
1) Let us know your willingness to join the group.
2) Pass the word on to fellow members and classes*
3) Visit our new website: https://redkeyalumni.com
4) Follow our LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/28528849/admin/
5) Donate Now: https://gf.me/u/ymadcj
*we would like to reach more classes from the 2000's especially
We are excited about this initiative and the possibilities to come and hope you are as well! We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
