With permission of Cristian's mother, Amelia, I'm reaching out on behalf of one of our D112 students, a rising 6th grader who, along with his mother, was in the midst of the senseless act that our community faced during the 4th of July parade. We are grateful to know that Cristian and his mother were able to flee and make it out. However, both were injured in the process and were seen at the hospital. I'm reaching out to our community for your support with any monetary amount, to help with incoming medical bills. I hope that the financial aid can help alleviate some of the worries as they navigate the challenges this trauma has caused Cristian and his mother. Thank you for your consideration and support.
