Redbrick

We are Redbrick, one of the busiest student newspapers in the UK that has been running for 87 years. Sadly, we do not receive regular funding from the University or Guild of Students so our running costs come entirely from sponsorships, fundraisers and donations.

Every one of our dedicated staff are volunteers, sacrificing countless hours to ensure the newspaper can inform the local community and provide invaluable journalistic experience for students.

Redbrick also has an esteemed prestige as a national award winning paper, and alumni have gone on to have illustrious careers in all sectors.

We are looking for any donation, big or small, to help us continue to function as a newspaper, and a historic institution of the University of Birmingham. Your funding would go towards printing the newspaper and keeping the website up and running.

Every penny goes right back into the newspaper, so any donation you can make will make a tangible impact on student media in Birmingham.
