Redcar Rotary Boxing Day Dip 2024

You can make a difference by registering for the 55th Redcar Boxing Day Dip.

Please only use this site to donate a minimum £10 per person to register to join the Redcar Dip. This is non-refundable.

Groups of 10 or more registered at the same time, the minimum donation is £7.50 per person.

Venue: The Palace Hub, The Esplanade, Redcar.

Time: Book in from 10.15 am, and we aim to enter the sea around 11 am.

Redcar Rotary Club has worked for the local community for over 75 years. We raise funds to help individuals, community groups and local charities.

We run several public fundraising events throughout the year. A big success is the annual Boxing Day Dip which began in 1969. This event raises c£40,000 each year for local and national charities.

Through Rotary International, we support worldwide initiatives such as the Shelter Box scheme, providing over a million victims of natural disasters with shelter and supplies. We are also working towards eradicating Polio from the World, which is very close to being fulfilled.

We want you to raise as much money as possible for your chosen cause. As you know, we ask for a minimum donation of £10 as registration but want you to keep 100% of the sponsorship money you raise. The registration fee helps us cover the cost of running the Dip. Redcar Rotary Club will be holding a bucket collection on the promenade and the beach; this will help us raise money for the charities we support. So, we hope that you respect this and don't hold your own bucket collection on the day.

In completing the registration, you consent to Redcar Rotary Club contacting you solely about this year's Boxing Day Dip. The information we collect from you will not be shared with any third parties and will not be used for marketing purposes.
