Redmond El Community Playground
Tax deductible
UPDATE 3/26/2014:
We have been busy. We have double checked all our donation amounts and event expenses. We have negotiated the price for the playground equipment with the vendor. We are so close!
We need $1,261.94 to build the playground.
Redmond El has raised about $29,613.41 of the $30,875.35 we need.
REDMOND EL's PLAYGROUND IS A COMMUNITY ASSET.
"¢ A safe gathering place for kids in our community.
"¢ For many families nearby . . . the only outside place to play.
A PLAYGROUND FOR ALL SEASONS
"¢ City of Redmond Community Center summer programs share it.
"¢ Lake Washington Youth Soccer families use it in the fall.
"¢ Redmond El students play on it all winter.
"¢ Redmond West Little League families use it in the spring.
WHY US? WHY NOW?
"¢ The PTSA built the current playground over ten years ago.
"¢ District capital money is in short supply.
"¢ Our kids need a larger space to play on.
"¢ 34% of our students enrolled in free/reduced lunch program.
"¢ Two dozen of our families are homeless.
"¢ We need to ensure all our kids have a safe place to play.
"¢ If we can raise money in time, then we will build summer 2014.
"¢ If it takes longer, then we will build December 2014.
"¢ If we raise more than we need, we can expand playground.
Your donation is tax deductible, as noted in the top of this page. A receipt will be emailed to you.
