Reed Family Medical Fund

I am raising money to support my sister and brother-in-law on their medical fertility journey. My sister has recently been diagnosed with stage four endometriosis, a condition that affects about 10 percent of women globally. Due to her recent diagnosis and the extent of the doctor's findings, she was referred from her primary gynecological office to receive treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.

After extensive testing and imaging, her doctors have concluded that the best approach forward is to remove not only part of her reproductive system but also parts of her digestive tract. Large masses on her colon were found and the only treatment is resectioning her colon through surgery. Her endometriosis has progressed so severely that it has caused permanent damage to not only the way her reproductive system functions but also how her body is functioning day to day.

The medical bills for surgery, colon resectioning, testing, and potential IVF treatments are starting to pile up faster than they can keep track of. They need additional financial support from friends, family members, and community members to be able to start their road to healing and hopefully a family. Please also keep them in your prayers as this has not been an easy road for them to walk.
