Reefs needs surgery for mammary cancer

TLDR: Reefs needs surgery for mammary cancer, and she's a good girl who deserves it.

Reefs' Story: Oh boy, let me tell you about Reefs. Reefs is a delightful little beastie who has never met a stranger - human or animal. I saw her being pushed in a stroller in downtown Baltimore by her human, and absolutely fell in love with her. Her person and I struck up a friendship.

Reefs and her human friend live unhoused in Baltimore City. I don't want to share too much of her person's story, as it's not relevant to Reefs' needs, but he's a young man who has been dealt more hardship than any one person should ever have to deal with and has had to do so with absolutely no support since his mom died. The only thing she left him was Reefs.

Reefs is a 10-year-old lady with several mammary masses that two separate vets have, without biopsy, stated are almost certainly cancer. The first vet was paid for by her human...living on the street, he still managed to save up $500 to get her taken care of. She has been, for the length of time I have known him, his number one priority.

Reefs' human is going into a treatment program to get clean so he can get on his feet and better provide for himself and Reefs. I would like nothing more than to be able to surprise him by saying, "Hey, guess what. Your girl is going to get her surgery."

Can you help Reefs get treatment so she and her human can walk into their future together healthier and ready to take on the world?

(The fundraising goal is set to cover the high end of her surgery estimate. Any amount raised beyond that or any excess leftover after surgery will go toward getting Reefs and her human into suitable housing.)
