On Monday, July 9th, 2018, the Alexandria Little League Juniors Division All Star team won the Virginia State Championship! This year the state tournament was held here in Alexandria, VA and hosted by Alexandria Little League and District 4. Many thanks to family and friends who came out to cheer them on! It's always more fun to win in your own backyard!
The Alexandria team now advances to represent the Commonwealth in the Southeast Regional Tournament on Aug 2nd-7th in Fort Myers, Florida. They will battle against state champions from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and West Virginia.
Please consider making a donation to help the players and managers get to Fort Myers. All funds raised are fully tax deductible and will go directly to Alexandria Little League. Funds will be used to help defray the travel costs incurred at the tournament in Florida.
