Charles is 65 years old and was born and raised in the City of St. Louis, MO, graduated from Southwest High School and attended Jefferson College. He moved to Barnhart, Missouri in 2000 where he and his wife of nearly 40 years, Sharon, raised their daughter, Sarah. He currently has one pet Maynard, “man's best friend”.
Charles is a past World and National Kart Racing Champion, a lifetime member of the NRA (National Rifle Association), Member of the Sons of the American Legion Squad 0347, Recording Secretary for Lodge 688 IAMAW District 9 and, past President of the Jefferson County Pachyderm Club. He recently retired from Marquette Tool and Die Company in Saint Louis serving 36 years as the Chief Maintenance Machinist.
Charles was first elected in 2011 to serve the residents of the Fourth District on their newly formed County Council for a two-year term. During this initial two-year term on the new County Council, he worked to establish a government that would be both efficient and responsive to the Citizens of Jefferson County and follow the intent of our new Charter Government. Charlie was elected again in 2016 and has worked hard to represent the wishes of the people of District 4. He has served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the County Council. He has governed with Competence, Common Sense, Conviction and Courage. He is the Voice of the People!
