Re-Elect Commissioner Anne Huffman 2021

Re-elect Commissioner Anne Huffman on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
In May 2017, it was by the grace of God that touched the hearts of so many Haines City, FL voters to elect me as the "1st African-American Female" City Commissioner. During the last four years, I have been pushing, advocating, and fighting for all of the Haines City residents. I stood with the Peninsular Drive residents to have a voice in their "Paving Project", the Kentucky Street area residents (On the Southside) against big development disrupting peace and harmony this older neighborhood enjoyed. I fought alongside the "Eastside" residents in their environmental battle for the closure of a biochemical solid waste plant. I have been a strong advocate for Girls Softball to return to Haines City and we are preparing to break ground. Many residents are "Paw-Parents" and I worked with the City until the land was purchased and we are almost ready to break ground on Ember's Park.
When I've voted for the 10,000 new homes to be built, I made sure they will provide Green Space and a playground in each subdivision. I also spoke up on my major concern with insufficient roads for the incoming traffic. I voted to bring the CARVANA inspection station to Haines City which provided over 400 new jobs. In Oakland, the oldest African-American neighborhood, their recreation pool was closed due to safety issues. For years only a couple of City Commissioners were staunch supporters of replacing the pool there. In my first 60 days of taking my oath, I resurrected the Oakland Pool Project and persevered until the City used CRA funding to construct the pool not just for the Oakland Community but for all residents of Haines City. At two local Black Lives Matter rallies, I made it clear that I support the HCPD, and thanks we don't have the same issues that other metro cities across America have. I felt compelled to immediately squash a false narrative being spewed by one of my opponents. The accomplishments mentioned would not be enjoyed if it wasn't for YOUR vote of confidence in me.
I am asking for your vote, your support, and your financial contributions so I can remain highly visible in this race to continue as YOUR voice on April 6, 2021. Please keep me in your prayers and positive energy thoughts, there are five candidates so far who want to replace our progress thus far. A few of my sponsors whom I appreciate so much are Global Ent, YOLO, Holmes Funeral Directors, Kids Academy of America, Dreams Event Center, JumpTime, Kings Lodge 458, Rose Banquet Hall, Kustom Prints 5T's, Six Figures Entertainment, Hot Mazi, Truth, and Carter's Car Wash.
