Reentry Support for Chris

After 21 years, Chris is coming home!!!

Thanks to the support of friends and family who crowdfunded to hire a parole board attorney last year, Chris was found suitable for parole in early July and will be coming home for the holidays in late 2023.

We ask your help in spreading the word so we can raise funds to help Chris reenter society, to purchase clothing, a laptop for school, and the basic necessities of restarting a life after two decades.

Chris is 56 years old and has dedicated himself for years to gaining insight into the past harm he caused, committing himself to his spirituality and his sobriety, and making living amends. Chris is an actor, playwright, and facilitator of the ACT (Acting with Compassion and Truth) cultural awareness and empathy-building class for LGBTQ people and allies at San Quentin, a first-of-its-kind in the nation. We know that Chris will make a positive impact in our community and broader society when he is released on parole.
