Reece McKelva

As many of you know, Reece was in a tragic hunting accident over this past weekend.  He has suffered extensive damage to his right arm.  

Saturday morning (11/26), Reece and a few of his friends headed out to Lake Whitney.  In the early morning hours Reece was shot due to a firearm malfunction.  The ambulance was able to reach him very quickly, considering his location.  He was transported to Cleburne and then Careflight'ed into Parkland.  The initial plan was to amputate the entire arm at the elbow.  The damage was incredibly severe.

The trauma team at Parkland was nothing less than spectacular.    The vasuclar surgeon worked nothing short of a miracle and was able to save his arm.  

Reece and his family have a very LONG road of surgeries, rehabilitation, and healing ahead of them.  Minimally he will be camping out at Parkland for 3 weeks.

My hope is to help raise funds for the family to allow for assistance with Christmas for the kids, medical bills, household needs, and Reece's future needs.

While Reece & Dondi have an amazing support system of family and friends, Christmas is upon us!

Please help me lighten the load that they face in the coming months!
