For those who don’t know, I’m Claire Jones, and I’m incredibly proud to introduce my daughter, Reese Huckle.

Reese is an extraordinary young talent who has been swimming competitively since the age of eight with her club, RTW Monson. From the moment she completed her swimming lessons at seven, Reese knew she didn’t want to stop, and her passion has only grown stronger.

Over the past three seasons, Reese has consistently exceeded our expectations, achieving remarkable milestones at the County, Regional, and National levels. This year, she earned a place on the prestigious RTW Monson Women’s 800m relay team and claimed first place in the South East Open Water 2km for the 15/16 age group, taking home the gold!

Looking Ahead to a New Season Full of Opportunities

As we gear up for the 2024/25 season, we’re preparing for even more competitions, training camps, and new goals. However, these opportunities come with significant additional costs, including travel, accommodations, and training camps. Based on last year’s expenses, we anticipate costs to exceed £6,000, with potential international competitions on the horizon.

Upcoming Competitions:

• September: Kent County Relays

• November: Winter Regionals in Winchester & Club Champs Distance Events

• December: Club Champs (two weekends) and Winter Nationals

• January: Last Chance Meet - Kent (TBC)

• February: Cyprus Swim Camp (7 days of intensive training)

• February: Kent County Championships (2 days LAC)

• March: Kent County Championships (2 days LAC) and National Qualifier (TBC)

• March-April: Regional Qualifiers in High Wycombe

• April: National Qualifiers

• May: Last Chance Nationals Qualifier (TBC)

• June – South East Open Water

• July-August: Summer Splash in St Johns and hopefully, Nationals!

How You Can Support Reese

Reese is incredibly dedicated, training 16 hours a week around her school schedule. Her passion for swimming drives her, and the last thing we want is for financial barriers to limit her potential. That’s why we’re reaching out to raise funds for the upcoming season.

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for companies to sponsor Reese. In return, we’ll feature your company logo and website on a custom towel that Reese will use poolside at competitions, giving your brand visibility. Additionally, we’ll share photos of Reese at these events, proudly displaying your towel, along with regular updates that you can use for your social media and website.

Sponsorship Details:

• Minimum Sponsorship: £500 for a branded towel for the entire season.

• Donations: Any contribution, large or small, will help us reach our target.

If we exceed our fundraising goal, additional funds will be saved for Reese’s future competitions or used for essential race suits, which can cost between £260 and £400.
