HELLO EVERYONE, my name is Refaat Alathamna. My children are only 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 years old. I need to get them out of Gaza before it’s too late. They are everything I have, and they are what keeps me going every day.

I am an anaesthesiologist, and since October 7, 2023, I have witnessed the unimaginable. The consequences of these atrocious attacks have left scars on my soul that will remain forever. I pray every day that my children never have to walk through the doors of any hospital, that they don’t become just another statistic.

After surviving months of these brutal attacks, my primary concern now is the safety of my children. I am desperately seeking an immediate way out of Gaza to ensure their well-being and the hope of a future where they can grow up healthy and free.

To leave Gaza and cross the border into Egypt, we need to pay between $5,000 and $7,000 per person. Unfortunately, we do not have that amount of money.

We urge anyone who can make a monetary contribution* to help our family escape the dangerous situation we live in, with the possibility of finding refuge outside of here. Every effort counts and will not be forgotten.

Llamada desesperada del Dr. Alathamna para salvar la vida de sus 5 hijos

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Refaat Alathamna. Mis hijos solo tienen 4, 6, 8, 10 y 12 años. Necesito sacarlos de Gaza lo antes posible. Son todo lo que tengo y lo que me mantiene en pie cada día.

Soy médico anestesista y desde el 7 de octubre de 2023, he sido testigo de lo inimaginable. Las consecuencias de los ataques atroces han dejado cicatrices en mi alma que permanecerán para siempre. Rezo todos los días para que mis hijos nunca tengan que cruzar las puertas de ningún hospital, para que no se conviertan en una estadística más.

Después de meses sobreviviendo a ataques atroces, mi principal preocupación ahora es la seguridad de mis hijos. Busco desesperadamente una salida inmediata de Gaza para garantizar su bienestar y la esperanza de un futuro en el que puedan crecer sanos y en libertad.

Para poder salir de Gaza y cruzar la frontera con Egipto, debemos pagar entre 5,000 y 7,000 dólares por persona. Desgraciadamente no contamos con esa suma de dinero.
