REFORESTING KEY PART OF THE AMAZON RAINFOREST
Donation protected
Hello everybody, Rob de Laet here. I am a climate activist working closely with the Guajajara people of Northern Brazil to reforest a large area destroyed by fire and illegal logging. I visited the site again in August to find out the most critical needs for the projects. In three locations, reforestation has started to happen, organized by Project Eden. Lots of tree seeds are collected as well as the picture shows. We talked to the coordinator of the Mosaico Gurupi area, which includes a total of five Indigenous areas where people are passionate about restoring their forests. We need significant funds to get all the work done. Still, here we hope to collect some smaller donations for things like a solar pump for irrigation of tree seedlings, sacks for 50.000 more tree seedlings or transportation costs for the local Indigenous people to organize themselves. Will you help? Thank you!
