Reform UK Campaign: North East Cambridgeshire
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
My name is Chris Thornhill and I would like to introduce myself as the Reform UK spokesperson for North East Cambridgeshire.
Why did I sign up to be a Spokesperson?
Probably like you, I have been so frustrated and disappointed by modern politics, and I felt voters are not being listened to. It appears today all the main parties act the same, with plausible sound-bite policies and rhetoric, but no meaningful plan for change. I feel politics needs plain-speaking people like me who can make common-sense decisions based on facts or sound logic.
What are my principles?
I have three simple but practical principles:
1. Fairness – everyone should be treated fairly, and we should all play by the same rules.
2. Meritocracy – opportunities should be given (or at least considered) to people with the right skills, aptitude, and experience.
3. Democracy – free to discuss opinions and ideas, and then voting on them is a fair and right way to make key decisions.
How can you help?
Reform UK is a small but growing party and does not have wealthy backing from businesses like the Tories or donations from the Unions like the Labour party. I am seeking to raise around £500 so that I can support my campaign to purchase leaflets for door-to-door distribution, posters and other campaign materials. A £5 or £10 donation of support would be most appreciated, and will no doubt help me drive greater awareness of Reform UK’s aim which is to bring much needed change and modernisation to the way our country is run.
Best Regards,
