Refractions of Pride is a multidisciplinary Festival, aiming to provide a stage to the different voices inside the LGBTQIA+ community, amplifying the BIPOC voice and reach a wide range of audiences from children to adults.
The festival goal is to actively support the Ali Forney Center in their mission to protect LGBTQIA+ youths of all races and ethnicities from the harms of homelessness and provide them with empowering opportunities for independent lives.
The festival is co-produced by Dirty Laundry Theatre , Broadway Writer/Actor Eric Ulloa, MusicTalks and Sis the actress, activist and Sister to the people, and in association with Stonewall Inn ;
More information about Ali Forney Center: Committed to saving the lives of LGBT young people, in 2002 Carl Siciliano founded the Ali Forney Center (AFC) in memory of Ali. Since AFC's launch with 6 beds in a church basement, the organization has grown to become the largest agency dedicated to LGBTQ homeless youths in the country.
