Refresh Scout Hall

Way back in the early 1950's, when community members proposed the idea of a central even location, the island Women's Club came forward and said they would support the proposed project. The building's plans were drawn up for free by a local resident. A local landowner donated the property for the eventual building. Most of the hall's construction was completed by volunteers.

Continuing that volunteer spirit the BIWC is raising funds to refresh Scout Hall. Updating window coverings, refreshing the fireplace, entry way and the bar. Both the men's and women's bathrooms have been completed, done by donations made by community members and labor by our talented residents.

Anything that is 70 years old can use a refresh! We are looking for community members to contribute to making Scout Hall look refreshed! Anyone who lives here on Bethel Island and our neighboring communities has been to Scout Hall at one time, or more! Help BIWC "refresh the heck" out of Scout Hall!
