Help Ukrainian refugees Volodymir&Tatiana Tytar

Hi. my name is Sasha and I am raising money for my close friend's elderly parents who fled Ukraine running for their lives. Here is their story:

 

After sheltering in a basement for 10 straight days with little food, water and electricity

Tatiana (72 yrs) and Volodymir (76 yrs) were able to flee heavily shelled Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine. After 2 harrowing days, during which Volodymir might have suffered a light heart attack, they made it across war-torn Ukraine into Poland from where they were able to fly to Chicago. On

arrival they received temporary tourist visas.

Plan was to regain strength and then to continue on to Atlanta where their daughter Nadia lives. Unfortunately, while still in Chicago, Volodymir’s health deteriorated rapidly and he ended up in the CCU of John H. Stronger, JR Hospital of Cook county and is currently considered for an open heart surgery.

Volodymir and Tatiana had to leave everything behind and without health insurance they are unable to pay the hospital and other medical bills.
