Refugee Support, 2018
Donation protected
Dear friends,
Over the past two years you have supported my efforts in Greece to the tune of almost $4,000. That money has been used to provide everything from diapers and sleeping mats for infants to tinned meats, yogurt, and pounds and pounds of rice. I was able to buy dozens of bottles of sweetly scented baby soap, cartons of chocolate biscuits, and more bouncy balls than would fit in my van because there should be more to life than just survival. You paid for bottled water when the camp well was contaminated in the worst of the summer heat.
I will be returning to Greece in November, around the Thanksgiving holiday. I am asking for your support again as I make my third journey. There are perhaps more people in need now than in previous years, and no amount is too small to help. Thank you for thinking that people you will never meet are worth helping, no matter where they’ve come from.
If you would like to do more than contribute financially, I would be happy to direct you to organizations that could use your time or skills.
