Refugee Emergency medical

Hello. My name is Robb, and I have never asked for assistance or used this site for financial purposes. I am an English Teacher working with newcomers to Canada. All of my students have experienced hardships in their country of origin and come to Canada with hope for a new beginning and safety for their families. Every student is unique, striving to learn our language and culture and blend into Canadian society.
A family of Afghan refugees has been receiving language acquisition services for two years. They study conscientiously, attend daily classes, and are eager to become Canadian Citizens. The family arrived in Sault Ste Marie approximately two years ago from Norway, where they had temporary refugee status before being accepted to Canada. The Mother, Father, sister-in-law and three grown daughters traveled together to start a new life adventure in Northern Ontario.
While five members continue their English studies daily and actively search for jobs, one of the daughters has secured full-time employment. With support from Ontario Works, this family survives humbly, living together in a modest home.
This past weekend, tragedy struck this wonderful family. The youngest daughter, 23 years old, was rushed to the Sault Area Hospital with severe head pain. She was triaged, and plans were made to airlift her to Sudbury Hospital, although weather conditions would not permit. The following morning, her condition worsened, and a medical decision was made to transport her to Toronto for treatment and care. Since arriving in Toronto, she has undergone 3 brain surgeries in 3 days. Both of her parents are with her, and her medical status is unknown at this time.
This request is to lessen the parents' burden of worry. They live modestly together in Sault Ste Marie, and out-of-town medical expenses are a hardship no one could have anticipated. I am seeking financial support for this family at a horrifically stressful time in their lives. Their daughter is in critical condition, and the worst possible outcome is feared. I am asking that anyone who can donate do so to help offset the cost of hotel accommodation, food, out-of-town expenses, local transportation, language interpretation support, and necessary funds to return to Sault Ste Marie.
Every penny will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will given directly to the family in need
